Rescue Update
Hello Fish Friends:
Here at Finned Friends and KARS, we are still plugging away at keeping our doors open. It has been a long stressful summer, but we continue to stay afloat. We are functioning basically month by month and praying we can continue to work through this hurdle.
Rescues keep coming in and we have been involved in finding homes for fish not even in our vacinity. Based out of Wisconsin, we have helped fish find homes in Texas and Virginia as well. Just because I am not there in person, doesn't mean that I can't try and help. The world wide web is at our fingertips if you know where to look. So we take pride in if we can't be there....we are still there. :)
The mess that got us in this predicament to begin with, has still not been resolved. We are going to go into another heating season with equipment that is still not functioning the way it is supposed to. So that is going to make this heating season even more rough. I refuse to give up and pray that it will all turn around for the best. A fish rescue is very much needed and how many fish I rescued over the course of the summer is proof that they need me.
